Fogg launches new filler

Fogg Filler has begun making the first shipments of its newly launched Fill Pro 3000 Filling System.

Fogg Filler, the US-based processing systems provider, has begun making the first shipments of its newly launched Fill Pro 3000 Filling System.

Fogg Filler said that its Fill Pro 3000 Series incorporates state-of-the-art filling, handling and capping technology with integrated safety guards. The system is available with gravity, pressure gravity and metered filling technologies for cold or hot fill applications.

In addition to increased safety features and automatic controls, the equipment also features the optional Untouchable filling value for non-contact filling of free-flowing liquids or those with semi- or high viscosity. System designs range from traditional gravity fill, contact valve, neck support and snap cap configurations for milk, water and juice to sophisticated metered, non-contact, neck handling, and foil seal for extended shelf life applications.

The system also features a 2-to-1 transfer starwheel which Fogg says provides smooth, high speed container handling at critical transfer points. The integrated safety guard, situated between the operator and the conveyor system, can be upgraded to a full enclosure, including a HEPA air system, and ultra violet, steam or solution spray sterilisation.

The equipment can be integrated with a tri-bloc rotary rinser for cleaning or sanitising containers prior to filling. Tool-less change parts ensure easy changeover of container sizes. The operator interface allows all settings to be performed on the touch-screen control panel, including one-touch CIP, product supply data, maintenance scheduling and fault condition indication and reset.

The system is designed to accept all Fogg capping systems, from the standard screw capping system to the 700 Series, pick 'n place, snap cap and heat seal. Recent customers for the Fill Pro 3000 include SPC Ardmona, Berri Limited, National Foods and F & N Foods in Malaysia.
