The newly launched SaniFoam 40 is a food processing plant cleaning system that generates and applies a unique combination of high density foam and sanitising chemicals.
Changeover from foaming or sanitising functions, is, according to US-based manufacturer Ecoquip, simple to achieve by using a switch of valve position. The equipment features a 40 gallon tank and unique foaming chamber, and it empties in less than 20 minutes. The design of the equipment aims to make the system portable, managed by its small dimensions and easy-gliding wheels.
The equipment operates on compressed plant air between 60 and 90 psi. Standard equipment includes a pressure regulator and gauge, and 75 feet of spray hose with a spray nozzle. Ecoquip has built the equipment to include the company's unique foam chamber which produces instant dense foam "on demand" for the toughest cleaning jobs. It can be switched over to use sanitising chemicals in just a few minutes.
With units now in operation at a major beef processing plant, the new SaniFoam 40 was, according to Ecoquip, cited as "performing above expectations", by the beef plant's sanitary crew.
Unlike plastic tanks with pumps, the simple design and 316 Stainless tank is corrosion resistant with the aim of providing long-life service. Pressure relief valve controls eliminate the problem of over-pressurising the tank, which is ASME Certified and carries a five year warranty.
