Snapple Beverage Group, headquartered in New York, US, is deploying InterchangeDigital's Parts digital management and workflow solution to enhance its packaging capabilities.

"The new Parts system will allow Snapple managers to ratchet up their pace and productivity; it will give us easy access to all of our company's assets, which is invaluable," said Michael Sands, chief marketing and operations officer at Snapple.

Snapple's initial objective is to centralise all digital assets held in multiple locations and to provide fast, secure access to the manufacturing operations.

As the deployment expands, Snapple hopes to use Parts as a knowledge and content archive, providing users through the Snapple manufacturing operations with the ability to access current and historical assets for use in, amongst other objectives, packaging and promotion design, and supply chain communication.

"Parts will play a pivotal role in Snapple's packaging department ... we can use the system to quickly and accurately review the packaging we have produced in the recent and distant past," said Lucy Raia, packaging director at Snapple. "We can also use the system to ensure that all press runs of Snapple's packaging match the original, approved art."

InterchangeDigital is a wholly owned subsidiary of Schawk. Headquartered in Chicago, InterchangeDigital is an industry innovator in developing, deploying and managing integrated digital asset management products.

Snapple Beverage Group develops, produces and markets a wide variety of premium, non-alcoholic beverages and is owned by Cadbury Schweppes.
