Keller and Heckman, legal representatives to the food industry, has announced plans to offer two seminars on the regulation of food-contact materials in Brussels, Belgium, and in Washington, D.C.
The Basics of Food-Packaging Regulation: The U.S. Perspective will be held in Brussels on 9th October and in Washington on 28 October. The seminars will feature both US- and Brussels-based Keller and Heckman attorneys and scientists, and will provide a wealth of information on the topic, including an overview of the FDA's food additive regulations, an examination of the food-contact notification system, and a look at other applicable agency regulations.
A second seminar, The Basics of Food-Packaging Regulation: The EU Perspective will be held in Washington 29 October, and will also feature both US- and Brussels-based attorneys and scientists. It will cover a variety of topics, from the Framework and Plastics directives to national legislation and mutual recognition.
The cost of each seminar is $250, (€253) although individuals who register for both seminars will receive a 10 per cent discount. Companies registering three or more attendees will receive an additional 10 per cent discount.
