International Dispensing Corporation, a research and development company, is revolutionizing the way aseptic beverages are dispensed from flexible pouches with its new gravity flow valve technology.
The company manufactures and sells the only aseptic Gravity Flow Valve capable of dispensing an array of aseptic and organic beverages, such as, non-preserved fruit and vegetable juices, isotonic sports drinks, organic dairy and soy beverages as well as pharmaceutical and neutraceuticals products.
To capitalise on the growing food service market opportunities, leading food, beverage, and neutraceutical companies across Europe and North America are continuing to introduce new products marketed in flexible packaging, suitable to the gravity flow valve. IDC claims its valve has increased some customers' revenue by as much as 25 per cent.
"We have been begging the industry for this type of aseptic dispensing system for the past eight years, and nobody was willing to invest the time or money into the research and development efforts until International Dispensing stepped up" said Jim West, President of Goodwest.
"IDC's dispensing technology provides us with a significant, competitive dispensing edge," said Bill Goodwin, CEO of Goodwest. "The Gravity Flow Valve represents a quantum leap forward for the entire beverage industry. IDC's valve design and function has offered key advantages to our foodservice customers."
IDC, founded in 1995 and based in Maryland, is a research and development company that develops and manufactures leading edge packaging and aseptic dispensing solutions for the foodservice industry.
