Teckwah invests in China packaging firm

US company Teckwah Industrial said its unit Teckwah Printing and Packaging division will invest an additional $6 million (€6.4m) in Wuxi Teckwah Printing and Packaging, bringing its total investment in Wuxi Teckwah to $10 mlllion.

The additional investment will facilitate expansion plans for Wuxi Teckwah, a manufacturer of flexible packaging materials for China-based food and beverage companies.

The expansion plans, expected to be completed by end-2002, include the construction of a new 60,000 square feet factory and the purchase of new production machinery and equipment.
